You maintain full control over when and with whom you engage, and the decision to share your details is triggered only by your explicit action within the Client Portal.
- No cost to clients: IONA JETS does not charge any fee, commission, surcharge or service cost to clients at any stage of the process, from initial request submission through proposal review, broker comparison and booking confirmation. The platform is funded by commissions paid by broker partners upon successful conversion of referred client requests. Your financial relationship is established directly and exclusively with the broker partner you select and the operating carrier they engage on your behalf. There are no hidden costs, no subscription requirements and no registration fees associated with using the platform or the Client Portal.
- Safety and compliance: Broker partners work with operators holding valid Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) issued by competent aviation authorities such as EASA, the FAA or equivalent national regulators. Crew qualifications, recurrent training, insurance coverage and aircraft maintenance compliance are verified as part of the operator selection process for each mission. How much does it cost to charter a private jet through IONA JETS?
Private jet charter pricing depends on five variables: aircraft category, route distance, passenger count, positioning legs and seasonal demand. A light jet on a short European hop may start at a few thousand euros; an ultra-long-range aircraft on an intercontinental route can reach six figures. Through IONA JETS, you receive multiple private charter quotes from competing brokers and compare pricing transparently. No platform fees are ever charged to the client. What types of charter flights can I request on the platform?
The platform covers three segments: private aviation (business jets, leisure flights, medical evacuations, helicopters, air taxis and empty leg flights), commercial group flights (airline sub-charters with ACMI structures, MICE and corporate events, sports teams, diplomatic missions, music tours), and air cargo charter (standard freight, express AOG, pharma cold chain, dangerous goods, heavy lift and humanitarian aid). Is IONA JETS a charter broker or an aircraft operator?
Neither. IONA JETS is a Swiss digital referral platform. We do not operate aircraft, hold an Air Operator Certificate or negotiate flight contracts. Once you submit a request, one or more vetted broker partners in the network take over: sourcing aircraft, negotiating pricing, managing your flight. How quickly can I get a charter flight quote?
Broker partners typically return initial proposals within a few hours of receiving a detailed request. The turnaround tracks the complexity of each mission: routing, aircraft requirements, passenger or cargo specifics, and any special logistics involved. On well-served private jet charter routes, quotes often land within the hour. Complex air cargo operations, multi-leg group itineraries or short-notice missions take longer, since brokers verify operator availability, regulatory clearances, insurance coverage and ground handling at each point of the journey.

IONA JETS is not an air carrier or aircraft operator and does not operate any flights; all flights are quoted, contracted and performed exclusively by third-party brokers and/or certified operators under their own licenses, terms and conditions and insurance policies. The descriptions provided on this website are of a general nature and reflect common practices and service standards within the air charter industry; they are for guidance only and do not constitute a guarantee that a particular service, configuration or feature will be available on every mission. Payment processing is operated by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd under their own terms and privacy policy, and IONA JETS does not store full card details on its own infrastructure. (1) IONA JETS is remunerated exclusively by partner brokers in the form of a commission, upon successful conversion. Clients pay no fee directly to IONA JETS at any stage of the process. Broker partners retain full pricing autonomy and set the quoted price independently for each Flight Request, taking into account their own commercial parameters and the standard practices of the air charter industry; IONA JETS does not set, control or guarantee the final price proposed by any broker, and encourages but cannot impose pricing parity with direct requests. The competitive multi-broker quoting available through the Platform is designed to provide market-driven pricing transparency, which remains subject to competition between brokers and operators. (2) Aircraft, country coverage and broker partner office figures reflect the aggregate global reach of IONA JETS partner brokers as publicly communicated by each partner. Aircraft accessibility and country coverage depend on operator availability, route, and certifications applicable to each mission; figures are indicative and subject to change. (3) The IONA JETS Business 14-day free trial requires a valid payment method on file at signup; no charge is processed during the trial period. Unless canceled before the end of the trial, the subscription automatically converts to the paid plan at 99 CHF/month + applicable VAT, with the first invoice issued on the day following the end of the trial. (4) The IONA JETS Business subscription is offered on a monthly recurring basis at the price displayed on this page (currently 99 CHF per month, excluding any applicable VAT or local taxes). IONA JETS is a Swiss-registered business (CHE-214.262.010 TVA); the applicable Swiss VAT (currently 8.1%) is added at checkout for subscribers located in Switzerland. For business subscribers established in the EU/EEA who provide a valid VAT identification number at checkout, the reverse-charge mechanism may apply in accordance with applicable rules, in which case the subscriber accounts for VAT under their own jurisdiction and no Swiss VAT is charged. Prices, payment terms and feature scope may evolve over time; any material change will be communicated in advance to active subscribers in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations. (5) The IONA JETS Business subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. Cancellation can be performed at any time from the IONA JETS Business Portal and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refund is issued for partial periods, and access to the IONA JETS Business features is preserved until the end of the period already paid.
