IONA JETS acts solely as a digital referral platform connecting clients with independent air charter brokers across private, commercial and cargo aviation. IONA JETS is not an air carrier or aircraft operator and does not operate any flights; all flights are quoted, contracted and performed exclusively by third-party brokers and/or certified operators under their own licenses, terms and conditions and insurance policies. The descriptions provided on this website are of a general nature and reflect common practices and service standards within the air charter industry; they are for guidance only and do not constitute a guarantee that a particular service, configuration or feature will be available on every mission. All services remain subject to operational constraints, availability and applicable regulations, and the precise conditions of your trip or shipment will be confirmed by the broker partner at the time of booking. Any transport-related obligations or liabilities rest solely with the contractual carrier and/or broker identified in the booking documentation. At-destination Experience
The at-destination experience covers what happens after you land: ground transport to your hotel or venue, luggage delivery, onward helicopter connections and any local services arranged as part of your charter booking. For private aviation clients, this typically means a pre-arranged vehicle waiting at the FBO or on the tarmac, with luggage transferred directly from the aircraft to the vehicle by the ground handling team.
For group charters, the at-destination experience involves coordinated coach transfers, vehicle convoys or helicopter connections that move the full delegation from the aircraft to the event venue, hotel or conference center. Broker partners coordinate with local ground transport providers, handling agents and venue contacts to ensure the group moves together and arrives on schedule.
For cargo clients, the at-destination experience is the final mile of the logistics chain: customs clearance at the destination airport, ground transport to the warehouse or facility and handover to the receiving party. Broker partners coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders and local handlers to manage this final phase and provide tracking updates until delivery is confirmed.
Broker partners can also coordinate complementary at-destination services beyond transport, including hotel reservations, restaurant bookings, activity arrangements, security coordination and concierge services. These are arranged through local service partners and confirmed as part of your overall travel coordination, subject to availability and local provider capability.
Good to know
Ground transport at the destination should be requested in advance as part of your flight booking. Broker partners coordinate vehicle type, timing and positioning based on your arrival schedule, but last-minute arrangements at remote or high-demand destinations may be limited.
For helicopter connections at the destination, such as transfers from Nice to Monaco or from a mainland airport to an island, these must be booked and confirmed separately from the main flight. Helipad availability, airspace restrictions and weather conditions at the destination all affect feasibility, and broker partners confirm these details before your travel date.
Customs processing times at the destination vary by country, airport and commodity type. For cargo, broker partners initiate pre-clearance before arrival wherever possible to reduce ground time. For passengers on international private flights, customs and immigration are processed at the FBO or VIP terminal, which is typically faster than the commercial terminal but still subject to the staffing and procedures of the local border authority.
If your plans change after landing, broker partners can assist with modifying onward transport, adjusting return flight timing or arranging additional services, subject to local provider availability and the lead time needed for each change.
