What is IONA JETS and how does it work?
IONA JETS is a digital referral platform that connects clients with established air charter broker partners. When you submit a flight request through the platform, it is routed to broker partners suited to your mission profile. They prepare proposals, which you can compare through your client portal. Once you select a proposal, the broker manages all contracting and coordination with the operator. IONA JETS does not operate aircraft, hold an AOC or negotiate contracts on your behalf.

Is there a cost to use the IONA JETS platform?
No. The platform is free to use for clients. There are no fees, surcharges or service costs at any stage. IONA JETS is remunerated exclusively through commissions paid by broker partners upon successful conversions.

How do I submit a flight request?
You can submit a request through the online forms on the platform (separate forms for private, commercial and cargo), via WhatsApp or by email to contact@ionajets.com. Telephone requests are not accepted. All requests must be submitted in writing to ensure accuracy and traceability.

How quickly will I receive proposals?
Broker partners typically respond within a few hours for straightforward requests. More complex missions involving multi-leg itineraries, specialized cargo, large groups or unusual routing may require additional time for coordination and operator sourcing.

Can I track my request in real time?
Yes. Your client portal provides real-time visibility on the status of each request, from submission through broker proposals, selection and booking confirmation. You can also exchange documents, add team members and communicate with broker partners through the portal.

What types of flights can I book through IONA JETS?
The platform covers private jets of all categories, commercial group charters on narrowbody and widebody aircraft, airline sub-charters and ACMI wet leases, and dedicated cargo freighters for standard, express, specialized and heavy-lift shipments.

How is safety managed?
Broker partners work with operators holding valid Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) and applicable safety certifications. Operator credentials, insurance coverage and crew qualifications are verified as part of the standard sourcing process. IONA JETS does not vet operators directly but maintains a curated network of broker partners selected for their compliance standards.

Can I cancel or modify a booking?
Cancellation and modification policies are determined by the broker partner and the operator, not by IONA JETS. These terms are included in the booking documentation provided by the broker. Contact your broker partner directly to discuss any changes to a confirmed booking.

The contractual relationship for your flight is between you and the broker, and between the broker and the operator.
