Booking Process

The IONA JETS booking process is designed to be straightforward regardless of whether you are arranging a private jet, a commercial group charter or a cargo shipment. It starts with a request submitted through one of three channels: the dedicated online form on the platform, WhatsApp or email. Telephone calls are handled by our automated system, which directs callers to submit their request through one of these channels to ensure all details are captured accurately.


When you submit a request through the online form, you provide your contact details, flight requirements and any special needs in a single submission. The form is segmented by charter type, with separate versions for private aviation, commercial group flights and cargo, each with guidance text tailored to the information broker partners need to prepare accurate proposals. Once submitted, your request is assigned a unique reference code and routed to the broker partner or partners best suited to your mission profile based on segment, route complexity and aircraft requirements.


IONA JETS endeavours to process all requests as quickly as possible. Requests submitted through the online form are typically processed within minutes. Requests submitted via WhatsApp or email are assessed by an IONA JETS agent who determines whether the enquiry contains sufficient information to proceed, and if so, submits it on your behalf through the appropriate form. In all cases, IONA JETS aims to process requests within a maximum of forty-eight hours, though the majority are handled well within that timeframe.

Broker partners typically respond within a few hours with initial proposals, though more complex missions involving multi-leg itineraries, specialised cargo or large group logistics may require additional coordination time. Proposals are presented through your Client Portal, where each broker's response includes a message, a proposed departure date and time, and any attached documents such as quotes, itineraries or terms. You can review all proposals, compare them side by side and communicate directly with each broker through a private messaging thread within the platform.

Your contact details remain confidential throughout this process

Broker partners can see your flight requirements but not your name, email, telephone number, company name or any other personal contact information. Your details are released to one broker only, and only when you accept their proposal through the Client Portal. All other brokers whose proposals you did not select never receive your contact information.

 

Once you accept a proposal, the selected broker receives your contact details and reaches out to you directly to finalise all arrangements, contracting and operational coordination with the operator. At this point, your relationship transitions from the IONA JETS platform to a direct engagement with the broker partner under their own terms and conditions.

 

If you submit your request via WhatsApp or email, an IONA JETS agent creates the request manually in the system using the email address you provide. You can then access and track your request through the Client Portal by logging in with the same email address. This ensures that all requests, regardless of how they are submitted, are centralised in one place with full visibility on status, proposals and documentation.

Good to know

IONA JETS does not accept booking requests by telephone. All requests must be submitted in writing through the online form, WhatsApp or email to ensure accuracy, traceability and proper documentation of your requirements. This process protects both you and the broker partners by creating a clear record of what was requested and what was proposed.

 

There is no cost to submit a request or receive proposals through IONA JETS. The platform is free to use for clients. IONA JETS is remunerated exclusively through commissions paid by broker partners, so you are never charged a fee, surcharge or service cost at any stage of the process.


Your Client Portal is accessible at any time and allows you to track the status of all your requests, review broker proposals, exchange messages and documents, and manage who has access to each request. You can invite team members, colleagues or authorised representatives to view and act on a request on your behalf. Invited users have the same permissions as you, including the ability to review proposals, accept or decline offers and communicate with brokers. Every action taken within the portal is logged for full transparency and accountability.


If you submit multiple requests across different charter segments, each one is tracked independently with its own reference code, status, proposals and communication threads. Broker partners responding to different requests cannot see each other's proposals or conversations, ensuring that each enquiry is handled confidentially and independently.

 

The email address you use matters. Whether you submit via the online form, WhatsApp or email, the request is linked to your email address. To access your request in the Client Portal, you must log in with the same email. If you use different addresses, the requests will not be linked to the same account.
