Onboard Experience

The onboard experience on a charter flight is determined by the aircraft type, the operator's service standards and any customization you have requested through your broker partner. Unlike commercial airlines where the product is standardized, charter flights offer flexibility to tailor the cabin environment, catering, service timing and onboard amenities to your specific preferences.

  • On private jets, the cabin is yours. Seating configuration, lighting, temperature, meal timing and noise levels are all within your control. Depending on the aircraft, you may have access to a full galley, lie-flat beds, a private lavatory, Wi-Fi connectivity and entertainment systems. Your broker partner confirms the specific amenities available on the aircraft assigned to your flight, as these vary significantly between aircraft types and operators.

  • On commercial group charters, the onboard experience can be enhanced with branded cabin elements such as headrest covers, printed menus, digital screen content and crew announcements aligned with your event or corporate theme. Catering is customizable for the full passenger manifest, including dietary, religious and allergy-specific requirements. Service style and timing can be briefed to the cabin crew in advance through the broker partner.

  • For cargo operations, there is no passenger cabin experience, but the onboard conditions matter for the freight. Temperature-controlled holds, humidity management, vibration protection and secure containment are all configured based on the commodity type. For live animal shipments, onboard conditions including ventilation, temperature and lighting are set according to IATA LAR specifications for the species being transported.

Wi-Fi availability on private jets depends on the aircraft and the route. Many modern business jets offer connectivity, but performance varies by system type, geographic coverage and whether the aircraft uses air-to-ground or satellite-based systems. Broker partners confirm connectivity options before booking if this is a priority for your flight.


Catering must be ordered in advance. Standard requests require 24 to 48 hours of notice, while complex menus, specific wine selections, certified halal or kosher preparation and allergy-safe meals may need longer lead times depending on the catering provider and departure airport. Communicate your preferences as early as possible.


Cabin branding and customization require lead time for production and operator approval. Simple items like branded napkins or headrest covers typically need one to two weeks. More complex elements such as digital content, cabin wraps or bespoke amenity kits may require four weeks or more. Discuss branding requirements with your broker partner at the earliest stage of planning.


Pets can travel in the cabin on private charter flights where the operator permits it. Documentation requirements vary by destination and species, and some routes require advance veterinary certification, microchipping and quarantine coordination. Include pet travel in your initial request so broker partners can source appropriate operators and confirm documentation requirements.
